My partner and I are planning to move to Spain in or around April this year, and have been visiting regularly over the winter to assess things and ensure that we don't fall into any pitfalls as highlighted in your website.
Just one thing I've been struggling to find out, and that is how to go about getting a license to trade on the markets in and around torrevieja? I know there is a huge waiting list for most of them, but it is something that interests us both and as my partner has work secured already, I will be at a loose end.
I am a qualified YMCA personal trainer, and hope to secure some freelance work in and around the costa blanca area where we will be staying initially. As far as I can see, there is a niche in and around the expat urbanisations for bespoke training programmes, group activities and nutrtional / physical advice and workshops.
I wondered if you had any thoughts on any of the above? My partner and I can get by in spanish although I am thinking of contacting one of the tutors on your useful numbers page to improve!!
Any advice, comments or thoughts would be much appreciated. Its a daunting thought!!
Kindest regards and congratulations again on a fabulous website - its in my favourites!!
Hi Sheepeye, thanks for the kind words re the site!! Try the www.torrevieja.co.uk forum as its busier than mine and there is bound to be someone there that can point you in the right direction.
Great advice on there too!
Good Luck!
