Many people think it will be easy to get employment here in Spain, I can tell you nothing could be further form the truth, especially if you are not fluent in the language, your best tip is not to compete with the Spanish unless you have a trade which you know will be successful here and the only way of knowing that is to do some research and then some more.......
Government Employment Service
The state run a National Employment Institute in Spain called Instituto Nacional de Empleo/INEM and this is the only legal employment agency permitted in Spain for permanent positions. INEM have over 700 offices they offer both local & National listings in addition to offering job placement and they also provide help with those wishing to start a business or be self employed.
INEM website is basically only in Spanish even though some headings and buttons are in English. The services though are available to all EU Nationals and foreign residents in Spain
Recruitment agencies
Are private employment agencies in Spain and may only operate as a temporary employment bureaux (Empresas de trabajo temporal). To be employed by a temporary agency you must be legally eligible for work in Spain and possess a social security card.
